Plenty of space to echo, Switzerland might just be the perfect place to do the trance sounds justice. One thing's for sure - they've got the queen of trance living there. Tatana has been bringing the noise since the mid 90's, when dance music put a never-ending spell upon her.

With DJ sets at big raves and festivals, Tatana Sterba worked herself up as a member of Switzerland's premier trance league. It didn't take long before she faced the next challenge, as the production side of music beckoned upon her. Taking her talent and skills to the next level, Tatana shocked the charts with 'Dream Off', 'End Of Time' and 'Words'. Her prolific mix compilations for massive events such as Energy and the Zürich Street Parade were the first steps to world domination. Track by track and set by set her reputation grew, and her name echoed across the Swiss border. 'Dobenbeck - Please Don't Go' was her latest global hit, which led to an invitation of looking after the 8th edition of the Trance World series.

If anyone knows how to handle a trance compilation, it's Tatana. Carefully selecting the right tracks to build up and highlight the 2 disks, this lady is in full charge of things. He's been following and leading the trance movement for almost 15 years already. But there's another thing Dutch producer/DJ Armin van Buuren likes to spend his time on.

The 'Universal Religion' series has been going strong ever since the first edition in 2004. Every edition is a live recording, straight from the epicenter of dance in summer: Club Amnesia in Ibiza. Every summer, Armin holds residency in this renowned club on the white party isle. As the club fills with dance lovers from all over the world, a special, cosy atmosphere takes over. These special moments of pure trance bliss, Armin captures onto his Universal Religion albums.

'Universal Religion 4' is filled with exclusive tracks and remixes. Two new Armin van Buuren remixes are comfortably mixed in with the Gareth Emery remix of Armin's 'Gaia - Tuvan', a surprising collaboration between Roger Shah and Signum, a progressive track by Nic Chagall and the unexpected return of RAM with his 'RAMsterdam'. But that's not all. Armin's 'holy musical hour' is filled with fresh tracks by Lange, Andy Moor, Daniel Kandi and many more. 'Universal Religion 4' will take you on a trip down Ibiza once more. Andy Moor disturbs silence without letting it lose its peace, by presenting his first compilation album, 'Breaking The Silence Volume 1'.

It's been a good year for UK Producer/DJ Andy Moor. Climbing up to the 18th position in the DJ Mag Top 100, joining Armada Music with his beloved AVA Recordings label, firing the right tunes during his worldwide tours, hitting the charts with 'Daydream', 'Fake Awake', 'So Much More', 'Faces' and last but not least given the honour of a Grammy nomination for his Delerium remix. But no rest for Andy, cause he's been busy breaking silence. Andy:"I never really felt like I could do anything different or unique in the past. I didn't want to put out a compilation for PR or media reasons, but only because I felt like it would be something people would want to listen to, and something that was needed and missing in the genre. Historically I wanted to keep building my style based on my live sets, slowly but surely over the years, to allow as many people as possible hear for themselves how my style works in the surroundings of a club. Now I feel it is the right time to release a compilation series displaying the interweaving of styles that I've been pushing in sets for so long. It is the first in a series which I want to develop as a whole musical journey, and one which also goes on an extended journey through the upcoming volumes."

'Breaking The Silence Volume 1' features a special selection of tunes, hitting the profound depths of progressive to slide off to melodic trance a few ravishing beats later. Andy:"The whole compilation does build, but also weaves, ducks and dives throughout, allowing longer mixes to develop creating a journey that flows through the styles." Featuring tracks by Andy Moor himself, Ashley Wallbridge, John O'Callaghan, Andy Duguid & Marcus Schössow, Arnej, Lange and many more, 'Breaking The Silence' is there for times when you want to actually listen and get taken in.
